Our amazing volunteers weathered the storm to serve nearly 500 people down at the GPO last night, a true testimony of the community coming together to help the homeless. We also distributed other essentials like sleeping bags, hygiene products, socks and scarves for those in need ✨ we are so grateful for those that donate and collaborate with us to make this happen 💝 #homelessness #ireland #dublin
“Today we served 400 meals, loads of fruits, vegetables, pastries, crisps, water, etc. Thank you to our donors who keep donating week in and week out. It means the world to homeless people and struggling.
Amid the hustle and bustle, we saw familiar scenes: families with children, the elderly, and even the disabled. It is heart-wrenching to witness it every single week.
In this sea of humanity, decisions about who gets served first can be difficult. We prioritize those who bear the extra weight of physical disability, those sleeping rough, the elderly, women, and especially children. These decisions are never easy, but we firmly believe no child, no elder, and no person facing physical challenges should have to wait for a hot meal or a warm bed.
Each tent and sleeping bag, each hot meal, means more than just material aid - they represent comfort, safety, and a sign that someone cares.
Because of your donations, we were able to buy 100 sleeping bags and 40 tents this week. We also put another order for 100 sleeping bags and 50 tents to be delivered next week. We are not able to do this without your continuous support.
We cannot thank you enough for your generosity. You are the ones making this possible. The food we share, the tents we distribute, the sleeping bags we hand out, all of them come from your contributions.
Please, let's continue this journey together. Your ongoing support allows us to provide for those less fortunate. Each donation, no matter the size, is invaluable. Together, with your continued support, we can keep igniting sparks of hope and comfort in those facing challenging times. #dublin #ireland #muslim #homelessness #CapCut

Another Friday passed where we gave out 400 hot meals, fruits, vegetables, breads, pastries and snacks. There can be hard times but we build a strong network of sisterhood that shows up every Friday 🩵 We really appreciate the donations coming through, we don't discriminate in the way we give because we understand that there's layers to the homelessness crisis in Dublin.🤝🏽 We also had a volunteer from the Garda Diversity Division tonight, we believe it's good for their volunteers to see the reality of what's happening on the streets with empathy.🇮🇪 #homelessness #muslim #ireland #dublin
We try our hardest on the rough nights, which is most nights but there are times we don't know what to do but lend a listening ear and give whatever we can. More proactive steps needs to be taken by the government to deal with the homeless crisis in Dublin. We make and give out food, hygiene bags and sleeping bags. Last week we gave 410 meals, 7 tents, 10 sleeping bags as well as hygiene bags and socks. If you can help us out follow us so we can put a link in the bio for you to donate. For now there's a link in the comments 💝 A little goes a long way. #dublin #ireland #muslim #homelessness
we love doing what we do, please donate and help support us so we can keep giving back to our community here in Dublin. We try feed at least 300+ people every Friday who don't have places to sleep or cook. if they do have homes, they don't have money since it's all gone in rent. The volunteers have felt a rough couple of weeks so far and any help would be greatly appreciated 🫶🏼 #followus

Abdullah bin Amr (ra) said, ’A man asked the Prophet, “What Islamic traits are the best?” The Prophet said, ”Feed the people, and greet those whom you know and those whom you do not know”’. [Bukhari]
Today we had 425 hot meals, loads of fruit, cakes, veg, bread, pastries, crisps, water etc. Thank you to @Darbar @Golden Olive and @Safco foods restaurants for donating hot food! A big shout out also to our wonderful volunteers who work tirelessly in serving the homeless and struggling.
Today we were heartbroken to see families and kids on such a cold night. They should be snuggled in warm homes and have cosy beds to come to but instead, they are standing in the queue outside the GPO waiting for food.
The inflation in the country got so high that after paying the bills people are struggling to buy food and if they buy the food they are struggling to pay their bills - it is a reality for so many we hear about.
People ask us why we do what we do each week and the answer is why not? Why not help somebody when they are down and struggling? Why not show compassion and empathy? Why not be there for each other and help this world to be a better place? ❤ #ireland #muslim #homelessnessawareness
