From the wide tooth comb to the brush, it’s immediate love at first sight/use! If you’re in the market for a new blow dryer, I highly recommend the @patternbeauty blow dryer!

Y’all up for a little unboxing?! 😆 This is NOT a sponsored post‼️I have been on the struggle bus for years with owning a good blow dryer. 😩I finally got one I thought I loved, and the teeth of the comb attachment just didn’t hold up after a while. 😒 I went to buy a replacement comb, but that would’ve required me to buy a whole new dryer. Ain’t nobody got time for that! I ordered a generic replacement comb off Amazon and at this point I’m just fed up. 🫠 Anaya’s hair is too thick for me not to have something durable to use. Between TikTok, YouTube, and Google searches along with online reviews I finally decided to “swipe” my card on The Heat Bundle by @PatternBeauty.
My initial impression is this design was created for women with hair textures like my daughter and me. On their website Pattern claims their blow dryer to be “curl-conscious.” My initial impression says most definitely YES! 🙌🏾 The way the attachments securely attach to the blow dryer is chef’s kiss. 👌🏾 The teeth and bristles of the attachments don’t seem like they will easily break if dropped or running through our coils. The wide tooth comb attachment… I mean do I really need to say anything else?! 😍 It’s a beautiful feeling when you know something was designed with you in mind. 🥰 I am so looking forward to using this on Anaya’s hair. Y’all! Let’s do better about giving God the credit He deserves. Too often we give the enemy credit for the work God is doing! There was literally an “Emergency Closure Order” in the San Bernadino mountains where I was supposed to be this weekend. As disappointed as I was when I got that call, I can now see how God protected me! I have no clue how to put chains on tires and I have no experience driving on icy roads. God redirected me to exactly where I needed to be this weekend. Even more, He saw fit that this weekend of rest and rejuvenation still happened because HE SEES ME!!! My initial disappointment was due to the fact I thought I was losing the gift of this time. However, God saw fit to allow things to still proceed as scheduled. He met me here. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it until the day I die: He’s a good good Father! I hope anyone reading this feels His love in this moment. I hope you know that even if you can’t feel Him or see how He’s working it for your good that doesn’t mean He’s not there. That doesn’t mean He’s not at work. Be encouraged!

Ask Him to reveal to you even just ONE thing He’s working out in your life. Often it’s the noise of our daily lives that keep us from that spiritual alertness. I recorded this almost 3 weeks ago. I never got around to editing it, and now that I have there’s a little bit of me that says don’t embarrass yourself. BUT I need y’all to see, feel, and hear me when I say I’M SO BLESSED! I’ve had a couple conversations between yesterday and today where I’ve listened to some of the things coming out of my mouth, and GROWTH, y’all! GROWTH! 🙌🏾 I’m so grateful to be a child of God. I’m so grateful for the work He is doing in and through me! I’m so grateful to be feeling lighter. I’m so grateful for learning to RELEASE in order to REST & REMAIN in the presence of the Lord while HE does the rest! Ugh! I feel good! So, today, I’m letting go of what I think y’all think of me watching this video in hopes that my light shines for the glory of God. He’s a good good Father!!!!! 😩🙌🏾🥰🤗

Whether it’s for the gram or for your memories, I HIGHLY recommend propping a camera up somewhere and recording a dance party with your kids. Dance parties are a huge mood shifter no matter what, and capturing these moments with your kiddos regardless of age is priceless. I often wonder if I’m making the right decision homeschooling my kids. I wonder if I should just be their mom and allow someone else to be their teacher. I wonder if I have the capacity to be called on in every nook and cranny of their lives. I wonder what they will say of THESE days that we live out together on a daily basis. In all my wondering, I continue to do the next right thing. Sometimes that’s all I have to give. Sometimes the next right thing is a deep inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth. Sometimes the next right thing is dropping everything and teaching them how to do the butterfly. Sometimes the next right thing is hugging it out. There’s lots of that! Other times the next right thing is locking myself in the bathroom and sometimes allowing the tears to flow. Moms out there, I see you. I am you. I know you’re tired. I know you’re wondering if you’re doing the right thing or even making a difference in their lives. I assure you whether you feel it or not… whether you see it or not… whether they affirm it or not… you’re doing a great job! You’re making a difference. Their lives are being deeply impacted by your presence, your patience, and your perseverance. Always remember God’s strength is perfected in your weakness. Rest and remain in the presence of the Lord, and allow HIM to do the rest. Keep on keeping on!
