⚠️ Id-deputati kollha tal-Partit Laburista vvutaw kontra l-ftuħ ta’ din l-inkjesta: konferma oħra ta’ kif l-iżviluppaturi u persuni oħra b’interessi b’saħħithom ħatfu l-istat għall-interessi tagħhom u a spejjeż ta' ħajjet il-ħaddiema.

Last week, a policeman who had confessed to raping a policewoman was acquitted on the basis of a procedural technicality, in a Court case where the Judge implied that the woman was responsible for what happened to her.

The legal amendment to allow abortion in cases where the woman is in danger is absolutely necessary, in order to protect women's health and ensure they have access to the best care.
We should not wait for a woman to die in order to introduce this amendment, as happened in Ireland in 2012, when Savita Halappanavar died of sepsis precisely because of the same type of legal restrictions that we have in Malta at the moment.

🔊 141 Senglea residents submitted an official complaint with ERA regarding the excessive noise caused by Palumbo shipyard operations. They are particularly concerned about excessive noise at night since it is disrupting their sleep.
🛑 The residents are planning to take more action to put an end to this unacceptable situation.
