Do you have any hemp clothing in your wardobe? 🌿
I'm so pleased to add these items to my collection, especially as we move out of the colder months here in Perth.
There are SO many benefits of choosing hemp clothing. Just some:
🌱 Industrial hemp absorbs 4 times more CO2 than trees (hemp is the king of carbon sequestration!!)
💚 It needs no toxic chemicals, pesticides or insecticides in order to grow, which is good for us and the soil
💧 It takes as little as 90 days to cultivate and requires significantly less water than cotton
👕 Because hemp is a natural fibre, hemp fabric will fully return to the earth one day
☀️ I personally love my hemp pieces for hiking and running in because they're so breathable and durable
With the state of our climate, NOW is the time to switch to slow and sustainable fashion, in whatever way that looks like to you. It starts with clothing that we love and wear for a very long time – clothing that is made to last, like these pieces here!
How do YOU feel about hemp clothing?
P.S. @zonebylydia is an Aus based slow fashion brand that you may have seen around here before!! You can learn more about their full commitment to sustainability on their website. If you're after any ZONE by Lydia pieces, I have a discount code for you! Use MOLLY15 at checkout for 15% off ☺️

Makes sense, right?! Thought I'd share this in case anyone else wants to change things up with their wardrobe.
For me, it's just one way to encourage me to keep learning more about Noongar seasons and keep paying attention to seasonal cues.
If you're in Australia, have you adopted a different seasonal model to the northern hemisphere/ European one that we were taught in school? I'd love to know 🪻🌼
