Replying to @claymoo.co if you wanted to try your hand at building your own displays, I highly recommend learning a bit more about woodworking! I watched a few YouTube videos and played around with different sizes to fit my perfumes.
I ended up getting plywood, hinges, and wood screws from Home Depot. Then went to Harbor Freight Tools for a jigsaw, clamps (very important), ruler, level, safety glasses and gloves, wood glue, and a detail sander. Since I didn't have any of these tools at home, the total including supplies was around 150 bucks.
It did take some experimenting and one of the shelves ended up being kind of lopsided š„² but I think it did the job! however, I do not recommend trying to do this the week of your event because it was stressful š

anime expo chibi was in ontario, ca this past weekend! this was our first time as an exhibitor at a convention so I wanted to share some behind the scenes of the whole process! it was 2 days to set up, 2 days of the convention, and 5 hours to pack down š„²
the booth cost 1K for a 10x10 ft space. when I first signed up, I didn't realize that didn't include electricity, wifi, parking, etc. so that was definitely something we'll have to factor in for next time.
