Introducing the Ekolu Plate aka “Da Big Boy” 🙌🏽 Featured is the Classic Ekolu - comes with Teri Steak, Teri Chicken, Kālua Pig, 3 scoops of rice, and 2 scoops of Mac Salad. When Mo’ Bettahs first opened in 2008 we did not have the Ekolu plate on the menu. Our founders, Kimo and Kalani’s good friend and Hawaii native Ekolu would come into the Bountiful store and order a Regular Teri Mix but he would add a scoop of rice, a scoop of mac, and a side of Kālua Pig. Every time he came in with his fellow police officers they would order Ekolu’s Special. Thus was born thee Ekolu Special, now known as the Classic Ekolu.
