Fraser Valley Real Estate Board - Stats for March 2023

The Real Estate market in the Fraser Valley has been significantly better since February 2023 at sales ratio of 25%, and now in March 2023 at sales ratio of 44% — overall (for all property types) — now in a strong ‘Sellers Market’.

What is Home Buyer Rescission Period?

As of 03th of January 2023, there is new legislation in the Province of British Columbia, that provides buyer(s) an opportunity to rescind a contract to purchase residential real property up to three business days after an offer is accepted. If a buyer chooses to rescind the contract in the time period provided, they must pay the seller 0.25% of the purchase price.
