Let’s talk about abstract art. “Anyone can do that!” Yes! Anyone can create abstract art. But it won’t be done in the same way by someone else.
What sets artists apart is their personal interpretation, creative process, and ability to communicate something profound through the abstract elements they choose.
The choices the artist make art can’t possibly be replicated in the same way by anyone else, or by the artist themselves in another point in time. We are never the same person experiencing the same things in the same way ever again.
Abstract art is special to the artist because it often conveys their unique emotions, thoughts, and experiences in a symbolic way. It allows them to express themselves beyond the restrictions of reality, using shapes, colours, and forms to evoke feelings or ideas.

What it looks like to interact with earth’s invisible-but-felt energy.
My son took this raw and honest video as I felt and reacted to the peaceful energy of the water… the colours of the sunset when we walked down to the beach at dusk.
I couldn’t help but be drawn to the water. Be in it. Feel it. Reflect on the light before me. Around me. In me. I feel it in my hands.
So I guess this is a rare example of me gathering the nature’s subtle vibes… that somehow work their way through me and into the art.
Honestly, it’s kind of weird to see myself and how my body moves in intuitive ways to receive that moment. But I think it’s important to recognize and honour the felt but often unseen authentic connection to nature which can be difficult to articulate.
Perhaps you feel that energetic flow in nature, too.
Or perhaps you’re curious to see what artwork will flow through the hands gathering inspired from this moment. I know I am… I don’t know who the future artwork will be for, what it will be, or why… but I go with the flow… trusting the mysterious, gentle nudge of nature’s guiding.
