Too many trading rules is a problem. . I used to have nearly 100 different buying rules and roughly 60 different selling rules. Loads of conflict and I’d often be like a deer in the headlights when it came time to act. . The solution comes down to simplifying the process. Start by getting all the rules you have put on the table. . Next, batch like with like. Buying rules, selling rules, etc… . Then start combining and/or eliminating unnecessary rules. .
