Jumping is a technical skill that has to be consistently trained and maintained throughout a season particularly when combining with a catching action.
1. Force Production - North/South Strength training, depth jumps
2. Rate of Force Development - Dynamic/Explosive Barbell or Med Ball work
3. Increase Velocity - Banded Jumps
4. Unilateral SSC work - You can see in the video almost every jump and land is off one leg so train accordingly, Split Squat Jumps, SL Hurdle Hops and Bounds
5. Olympic Lifting - Hang Clean, Power Snatch/Clean
6. Composition - Drop Body fat %
7. Paused Constraints - Using pause jumps, higher landing heights
8. Contrast Training - Varying heavy lifts with loaded jumping
