#thenvsnow Here she is! My Bobblina Heart Blanket is now available! I have been working on this large heart blanket for some time, getting the shape just right! My team of testers have worked really hard to iron out any typos or mistakes from the pattern and now it's ready for you to create your own beautiful heart shaped blanket.

I have used 'Truly Scrumptious' yarn, this is a sustainable yarn with 50% Recycled Polyester (recycled plastic bottles) x 50% Acrylic fibre content, which is amazingly soft and feels cozy against your skin.

Seeing the stitches from a previous round when using this type of yarn is very difficult, so you will be pleased to know that I have developed this pattern so you can get the texture and fun of the decorative yarn, without the pain! You will be surface crocheting into the ‘post’ of the stitches from the rounds that have been made using Honey Bunny yarn, which means that you will only do one round, but this will be shaped by the stitches that you will crochet into, giving a heart shaped round of fluff.

My Hobbii Black Friday project 🖤

I am so lucky to be a Hobbii Plus designer and get the chance to try out their amazing new yarn!

This is Wheel of Alpaca in Princess Party (08) 💗and Purple Rain (09) 💜

This is a long gradient colour changing yarn cake that has smooth transitions - only one of the strands changes (as with a Twister cake) so that there is not an abrupt change from one colour to the next, which would make it perfect for patterns such as my Lollipop Rainbow blanket 🍭, OmbRainbow blanket 🌈 or my brand new Atria Bobble Heart Blanket 💗 which are all available on Hobbii now!

But what really got me excited was that it is THICKER than a twister and it is made from 80% acrylic and 20% alpaca!! 🦙🦙🦙🦙🦙🦙

So it is perfect for scarves and blankets!!!

This is how it compares to a twister cake- so much bigger and squishier!

And here is a sneak preview of a pattern I am writing using this beautiful ‘Purple Rain’ colour way 💜💜💜
