That’s a wrap on our showpiece in Ireland for 2023. The ‘Timeless’ antiques show in the RDS is the jewel in the crown of the IADA (Irish Antiques Dealers Association).
The top dealers in antique furniture, mirrors, mid-century, jewellery, art, silver, sculpture, objets, garden ornaments, household pieces, watches as well some coins and military pieces all come together for this weekend.
The IADA is the leading body in Ireland when it comes to all things antique. This is a fully vetted fair and all members are subject to the high standards and oversight of the association. If you are thinking of buying any antique pieces make sure you deal with an IADA member.
On the fair itself it was so great to see our clients and fellow traders coming together to put on this event.
There really is no other show like it on the Island so thank you for everyone who came to make it such a special occasion.
For me I love this show so much as it is a chance to catch up with so many clients from all over who come up for the event, who perhaps we might not see all year but for the event. Regardless of whether they are buying or selling - the social element of the fair is probably the best element.
I have been coming to this event since as long as I can remember, even as a child I would always come along and help with the packing up. Although I’d say I was more of hindrance.
Have to say the RDS staff were fantastic throughout.
The Courtville team put in a great shift , as it is a long fair and lots and lots of preparation goes into it. So thank you to my excellent team for all the preparation and care they put into to this event. If you enjoyed visiting our stand you probably have them to thank for it.
Of course social media is such an important element in any business today but I guess nothing beats an old fashioned boots on the ground, market fair!
