Good morning! "Approaching Singularity", the title track from the upcoming album (3.11) was just released! It is a collaboration with the incredible Roberto Cacciapaglia.
It's my favorite track of all, perhaps because I love the works of Roland Bocquet and Mort Garson, which it resembles.
A friend from the past introduced me to Roberto's "Ann Steel Album" (a wonderful, ditzy, electronic pop record from 1979 - go get it!) and later Ned Collette and his bandmates invited me to join them for Australian shows and introduced me to a later, ambient record.
A few years ago I contacted Roberto, who invited me to visit his Milano studio (in the second pic) and a little while later we made this piece with the assistance of Peder Simonsen, long distance, but amusingly close to Milano at Palazzo Stabille.
Art is once again by the fantastic Boris Eldagsen.

Hi! A compilation I curated with some of my favorite artists comes out today via @underground_institute on #bandcampfriday , in collaboration with @afghanischerfrauenverein.
It also features a new unreleased sound piece with @audreyisabelchen.
The compilation's aim is to collect funds and raise awareness for the current situation of girls in Afghanistan - with the new restrictions on education set by the Taliban, currently schools are only open for female students up to the 6th grade.
The Afghan Women's Association (based in Hamburg) focuses on delivering education and access to knowledge in creative ways – via homeschooling, online-teaching, learning groups, radio sessions etc... as well as helping girls get scholarships for higher education elsewhere.
