I’m extremely proud to have connected with so many people and I’m stoked you’re enjoying the music. As an independent artist with no label, management or PR, I do run the project and self-release, but I’ve been very fortunate to work with a lot of amazing people on recording, arranging, producing, mixing, shooting photographs, making art, helping with design, giving me feedback and making videos for the work. There are too many people to name and I will invariably forget somebody and beat myself up over it but I appreciate you all very very much and I hope you know that 🙏 Speaking of wrapped, I’m currently wrapping up mixing a new album. “Time Keeps Going Just the Same” is a song about tending to your garden and feeling the morning sun on your skin. I wrote it during a period of relative calm and new love — everything felt easy and I had the sense that I was fulfilling my duty on earth just by existing.

The recording is from the moment of inception — you can hear me pausing to refer to the lyrics as I played the new song for my lover for the very first time. At the very end, you can hear me asking her, "Do you like it?" She responds softly, “I do, it’s very sweet." Then, the recording stops.

I hope this song helps you find comfort in your relationship with time, and I trust you'll enjoy this moment of ease that I experienced and put to tape.
