The school has a small farm which is gradually being developed as a source of food for the school meals and to sell some of the produce to generate income to cover school operational costs like staff wages, power, school van repairs and classroom materials. Today the children assisted with the harvesting of the maize crop.

It was such a joy 😀to meet in person the Barnabas Legacy Children's Dream Foundation scholarship students when I visited them in June 2023 to officially open their school, Agape Star Christian School, Namatovu Village, Buikwe District, Uganda.
