“The day I woke up next to my wife and she had left and gone to Heaven without me.”
This beautiful soul had me in tears on the beach! He had walked up to me with the friendliest smile, and asked about my surfboard and said he was trying to fly his kite 🪁 that day but it was too windy. So we made a little small talk. Then, we made Big Talk.
Then he took out a letter that he wrote for his wife, about the cruise they were going to go on that they had been saving up for. In the letter, he imagined in detailed imagery what their paradise vacation would have been like together. 😭

“You have to love yourself and that comes with preparation. Physically mentally and spiritually. It might not be profound. A four letter word. L O V E. Ain’t nothing worse than a heartache or a toothache and I’ve experienced them both haha! Unconditional love. Is it easy? Yes! Can it be difficult? Yes! But it starts with a principle.
