Tomorrow is the last day I will be dropping solarium pendants individually, as I make them. This one is FIRE 🔥 so, I’m really stoked to show you and happy that this piece is the final piece of the piece-by-piece format I’ve been using.
Dropping a collection with a release date is something I’ve thought about for the past year, but it didn’t make sense for me at the time. Now that I am fully obsessed with making Solarium pendants, it’s time.
So here’s how it’ll work. I’m headed to a big gem show in Colorado tomorrow where I’m going to pick up a handful of incredible gems, hit the bench, and drop them all on the same day. It will take a couple weeks, if not months for me to do this, so the drop date will TBD.
As soon as I have a date, you will all know about it!

I was recently asked to make an emerald stackable ring… I don’t specialize in “stackable” rings because they have to be very plain and sit up fairly high in order to sit well with whatever you’re planning to stack it with. It just doesn’t leave me any room for creativity (and you know I like to get really intricate and kinda crazy with my designs).
But when you pair a stackable with a couple of my engraved bands?! Okay now you have my attention.

Last October I was experimenting with pearls, re-envisioning them, rebranding them, giving them fresh life. Pearl jewelry has always felt so tired to me. I set out to shake things up. The response was polarizing. My designs went up for assessment across a panel of industry professionals where nearly across the board I scored low in the marketability category. Disheartened, I abandoned my more daring designs in pursuit of something more comfortable for everyone.
But I look bad on my old work and see so much creativity that I have since been suppressing. I picked up one of the rings in that collection and decided to give her one final, finishing touch.

When I look at this ring, I can see my dad’s influence all over the design. As different as we are stylistically, there are some projects that are undeniably inspired by him.
I’m really thrilled with how this turned out. I even managed to flush set that diamond like a king (iykyk).
