✨ Have you been cleansing your crystals regularly? ✨

Crystals are able to receive, store and transmit energy, so it’s important you perform cleansing rituals regularly to get rid of any negative energies that may have built up. Regular cleanses will keep your crystals healthy, and ready for you to use!

🌊 There are lots of different ways to cleanse your crystals, and a favorite method of mine is water cleansing 🌊

To perform a cleanse with water, place your crystal in a container of purified or natural water overnight 💧

Alternatively you can submerge your stone in a natural stream or lake, and hold your crystal under the water for 5 minutes — visualize the negative energy being washed away with the water flow.

➡️ It’s important to pay attention to the type of crystals you choose to cleanse with the water method, as a few (but not many) may become damaged ⬅️

✨ Creating a crystal grid for the Goddess Brigid at Imbolc ✨

I adore this time of year — spring is approaching, and with it comes the sacred festival of Imbolc, along with the opportunity to honor and celebrate the Goddess Brigid.

Join me in creating a crystal grid to use in your daily practice over this festive period 🤗

1️⃣ Begin your grid with a small statue of Brigid

2️⃣ Add a small coin embossed with a Brigid’s Cross

3️⃣ Next add 3 sets of crystals that connect with the different aspects of the Goddess Brigid —

♦️ Brigid the Hearth Keeper ➡ Carnelian & Golden Citrine
♦️ Brigid the Healer ➡ Garnet & Pyrite
♦️ Brigid the Goddess of the Forge ➡ Ruby & Fire Agate

Place these crystals in a triangle around your statue and coin — the triangle represents fire, an element sacred to this Goddess 🔥🔥🔥

You can choose to include all three sets of crystals in your grid, or place just one or two sets if you wish to connect more closely to certain aspects of the Goddess Brigid.

🙏🏻 Creating an altar for the Goddess Brigid at Imbolc 🙏🏻

Imbolc is nearly upon us, so it’s time to pay homage to the Goddess Brigid and her role as a Healer, Hearth Keeper, and Goddess of the Forge ❤️ Join me as I prepare my altar for this sacred time.

Symbols that I like to include in my space for Imbolc include —

🍃 Acorns - to help connect to Brigid’s sacred oak at Kildare
🍃 An Anvil - to represent Brigid as Goddess of the forge
🍃 Brigid’s Cross - each year I weave a new cross at Imbolc to include in my altar
🍃 Candles - to represent Brigid’s sacred flame
🍃 Sheep - to represent her as a protector of livestock
🍃 Milk - representing her connection with fertility
🍃 Herbs - to represent her abilities as a healer
🍃 Snowdrops & Daffodils - these delicate flowers are sacred to the Goddess Brigid
🍃 Swans - representing Brigid as the great Queen

I also place a selection of crystals on my altar, to help connect with the different aspects of the Goddess Brigid —

🍃 Carnelian & Golden Citrine - connect to her hearth keeper aspect
🍃 Garnet & Pyrite - connect to her aspect as a healer
🍃 Ruby & Fire Agate - connect with her as Goddess of the forge
