Chile I almost forgot today is my ATLANTA ANNIVERSARY!!!
My God look at how fast time has gone.
Since I graduated from @_hamptonu 15 years ago, itâs my dream to move out here and be surrounded around Black Excellence!
Within this year, I was able to focus on myself, discover new things about myself, push myself outside my comfort zone and make great friends along the way!
And how fitting is it that @cultivateyouressence marketing day with our new hires in Georgia happened all in the same week!

Explore Everything - We all come in thinking we want to work with one particular population, but the truth is you never know where you may find your sweet spot.
Niche & Master - After you find your desired population learn & study everything about that area of expertise because it will make you the go to person for all things that subject matter which is invaluable!
Personal Branding - Long gone are the days of sitting in a place of authority. People want to connect with you personally and from a place of vulnerability which helps attracts your desired community.
Salary - THERE IS $$$ TO BE MADE IN THIS FIELD! Donât be afraid to negotiate in EVERYTHING because if youâre good they will find the money for you.
The Pivot - Change is inevitable. What you once loved could be the very thing you hate next. Be open to where your career takes you knowing that our skillset is transferable to nearly everything in the workforce. Sometimes this may include creating your own lane and designing the career of your wildest dreams!
