Wizbang Theatre & The Spirit Room is a very unique hidden gem in the Cleveland Heights area, just about 25 minutes east of Downtown Cleveland. #hosted
I had so much fun during my recent visit that I had to share this interesting space with all of you. (I can’t wait to come back!)

Celebrating its 10th year, the theatre had its beginnings as a pop-up and at the Cleveland Public Theatre. Imagined by Jason & Danielle Tilk (aka Pinch & Squeal) You’ll find a wide variety of acts from circus performances, cocktail choirs, spooky movies, music, and so much more. Plus, the recently opened Spirit Room serves up delicious drinks in a sparkly and vintage-inspired cocktail bar connected to the theatre.
I attended their recent show featuring Dr. Zachariah’s Terrortorium and had an entertaining evening of vintage Halloween & horror clips and movies mixed with some crowd interaction. It was a lot o fun and I recommend checking it out.
There is one more showing of Dr. Zachariah’s Terrortorium coming up this Thursday, October 26, 2023. Seating is limited.

This weekend in Cleveland started on Thursday at the Cavs game with incredible club seats thanks to my bestie.
Got to visit Cent’s Pizza in Detroit-Shoreway Friday night. Havent had them in a few months so I was happy to get some Wonder Bread & Fontina Vs Fontinella, the house made butter and a pepperoni pizza. Just as good as I remembered it. 🫶🏼🍕
On Saturday I tried Goldie’s Donuts new shop in Ohio City, I got there later in the day (not a morning person) and it was a really good donut! I’m a fan.
After Goldie’s I stopped by one of my favorite vintage shops All Things for You. I haven’t been in since they expanded and they weren’t kidding, its huge now. 😳. They have so much awesome stuff, amazinf Mid-Century furniture and beyond.

One thing I’ve traveled a lot for is live music, having seen shows coast to coast covering 10 states.
With all that said, one of my favorite travel experiences for music has been within the same state, Ohio.
May 2022 we had tickets to see Tame Impala at KEMBA Live in Columbus, Ohio. We also had a case of c0\/|d 🥺 it was our anniversary and the 3rd one ruined by the panini.
Anyway, the concert was at the end of what would have been a week long trip to Columbus and Hocking Hills… and fortunately, the one of us who was sick tested negative in time for us to still make the concert. (awesome because these tickets were expensive!)
After my husband got out of work we booked it down to Columbus from Cleveland. Its a roughly 2 hour drive and we rolled in right about 8pm… doors opened hours ago. Or so we thought.
The line of people wrapped around the building in two directions. Our jaws dropped. Whaaaaat did we just get into. A rain delay. A rain delay that caused the venue to have everyone leave due to lightning and they didnt get back in yet.
It was a constant drizzle. We said oh well, parked the car, and got in line. Thankful we brought extra shoes and socks for the drive home and our rain jackets.
2 hour drive in rush hour
2 hours standing in line in the rain
Extra 30 minute delay
Amazing concert experience of one if my favorite bands that I’ve wanted to see live for ages.
This moment, a confetti cannon shooting into the light rain with the lighting and lasers. It was a top concert moment 1000% worth the suffering to get to. 🙌 Props if you read all of this 🤍

Theres so many resources I don’t think many know are available, including a beautiful view of downtown from their 10th floor 😍
📚Literaly a gajillion books, endless books, so. many. books.
🎨 Amazing creative resources for members to use like 3D, vinyl, laser printers, computers, and so much more in the Makerspace inside Tech Central.
⭐️ Lots of programs and resources for young and old, educators and parents, job hunters, travelers, and beyond.
📸 My personal favorite: a photography room with over a million archived photos. We sat down and looked at a few folders of Ohio City from the 50’s, 60’s & earlier. I could have looked through the old photos for days!
🫶🏼 Just a few more things your library offers: meal services, computer classes, tutoring & workshops, books by mail, job & career counseling, legal aid free advice clinics, travel planning help, passport services, genealogy resources, assorted special collections of historic items, library tours, map collection, story time, homework help, gaming, sound effect library for video work, a room of just comic books and graphic novels, move movies and tv shows than a Blockbuster ever had, and literally so much more.
