It’s okay to make mistakes, people!
I used to see mistakes as failures: A flub at work, in a relationship, or even just pushing my body too hard. But in 2022, I worked to see “mistakes” as lessons.
Every step back is an opportunity to make a new way forward. So now I see my mistakes as blessings. I am growing, I am learning, I am taking care of myself.
Here’s to more self-love and personal growth in 2023!

Anyone else have anxiety before leaving the house?
When you have a chronic illness, meeting a friend for dinner or going to a family party means planning ahead.
I make sure to take a nap before I go. I keep something sweet and something with protein in my purse in case I feel faint. I make sure to bring ear plugs and my blue light-blocking glasses while I’m traveling in hopes I won’t get overstimulated. I only drive myself if I absolutely have to.
I do this all in hopes of avoiding a crash.
How do you prepare before an outing? Comment below!

The best part about making reels is hearing they made someone laugh, helped spread a positive message or picked someone up when they were feeling down. Social media has power, people- and we can use it for good!

Anyone else feel their chronic illness is their anti hero? It’s hard to love your whole self when that means accepting your chronic illness. I choose to accept my illness and #DoToday by being grateful for everything around me. #chronicillness #chronicpain #chronicillnessawareness #selflove #selfcare #fy #fyp
