My daddy taught me to make this. He called it “whole cake” we always ate it with butter and jelly or jam. I miss him dearly.

Before baking brush with olive oil, Add some thin slivers of garlic, and some fresh rosemary. OMG it’s the BEST bread. The garlic fills your home❤️

Tip: the kitchen aid manual advises to only use the bread hook on level 1 or 2. Nothing higher.
