i used to never cry in front of people, let alone a camera. i never expected to post it either. except, i’ve realized some things…
maturing is knowing that vulnerability is strength. we all go through highs and lows. maturing is knowing that breakups suck, but you’ll get through it. everyone has their own ways of healing and that’s okay.
i wish i could tell my younger self that it’s okay to cry and feel things other than happiness. i used to tell myself “suck it up and smile so no one can tell”. i thought crying/feeling meant that you are weak. it’s easy to paint a picture that we’re all happy 100% of the time. it’s just not true. we all go through things and it’s important to remember. seeing y’all connect with this song and these few lines really reminded me of this. thank you 🖤

in honor of graduation, this is me last year. it was that time during senior year where you just dont know if you have anything left to give. if you’re a current senior or already graduated - you know what im talking about 😂
those four years of hard work breeze by fast. i wanted to post this for all seniors/upcoming seniors. first, you can get through this final stretch! second, soak it in while you can. soon enough, you’ll find yourself missing those 2 am nights staying up doing homework. raising your hand in class will be a distant memory. you’ll immediately miss your friends living in the next room.
it’s exciting to be almost done, but let yourself be in the moment. people told me this and i should’ve listened. im beyond grateful to live in nashville and chase my dream. but, i wish i hadn’t rushed through those 4 years looking to get to my next step. the journey is just as beautiful.
i’ll always cherish the experiences, people, and moments that have brought me to where i am today. you only get to live once so make sure you do the same 🤍
