The spacing out is how my teacher noticed I was having seizures in class! It’s worth getting tested

My sister has epilepsy and her seizures looked EXACTLY like this. That’s why it made me so worried when I noticed 🥺

Respectfully, he might be too young rn but maybe in the future vision therapy might help! If u can find it/afford it. It’s not the most acceptable😭

My daughter does this. She's 2 and a half now. We're backwards and forwards to hospital for an epilepsy diagnosis but being fobbed off 😭

Has he had his eyes checked yet? My baby brother has this and a pediatric ophthalmologist was able to tell he has tracking and focusing issues. (1)

Petit mal seizures - check them out. I had them as a child. Grew out of them by 18. He will be ok!

My aunt has had similar since birth. She spaces off and has seizures during this time. We will be talking and she will just look away.

Teacher of the visually impaired here… if it is an issue with imbalanced eye muscles, patching the stronger eye for 30 min a day can strengthen muscle

Definitely get it checked out! It could just be ADHD, I have ADHD and do that all the time. Try asking him if he was thinking about stuff maybe

I do this 30 times a day and I like to think it’s a form of disassociation.

My little brother has adhd and had seizures a lot as a toddler, luckily they stopped as he aged. Good luck on Jonahs health journey ❤️

The eye thing is a different thing but the spacing it out could likely be sensory processing disorder. It can be a symptom associated with adhd, -

Even if it is nothing it's better safe than sorry I'd rather overreact than not doing anything and something happen. you go mama

My son and I space out. Waiting on assessments for adhd/autism. Absent seizures were ruled out because we could get his attention most the time

When he stopped staring it looked like he snapped back into reality.. I hope it’s nothing of concern

I have seizures like this as well, definitely worth getting it checked out since it can make school difficult when he's older

Praying that Jonah will be fine and that it's nothing serious 🙏 He could not ask for a better mom❤️
