Draw the 12 signs of the Zodiac with me ✨ 💭 My creative process: 1. Look for inspiration & ideas on Pinterest and collect reference images for each for the zodiac signs 2. Sketch out ideas for each zodiac character 3. Create colour line art and add details 4. Research the personality traits of each sign & create a list of self-care ideas! 5. Add text to the illustrations with the zodiac themed self-care prompts 6. Welcome to my work-from-home creative studio space 🙌🏻✨ Both myself and my partner work from home and this space has been arranged and rearranged about four or five times since we moved in a year ago, but I think I’ve FINALLY nailed the perfect shared working space with this set up (although Gio might argue that his ‘half’ is much smaller than mine 👀) Some of my favourite things about this space: 🌈 my rainbow book shelf 🌈 my inspiration wall 🌈 my glittery backdrop wall I created with @cricut 🌈 having a big desk to spread all my stuff out on when inspiration hits 🌈 having a smaller desk for when I need to be more focused 🌈 my new colourful LED light that connects to my phone by bluetooth and can be set to basically any colour combo that you can think of! 🌈 the fact that I get to share this space with someone who makes working from home extra fun! 3 projects that really had a special place in my heart last year were: 1. CASETiFY - this one was a LITERAL dream come true! I had it on my vision board for years and I still get emotional looking at the collection I got to create 🥹🥹🥹 2. Miss T Teachables - this project was so much fun to work on and really felt like a collaborative process. Georgia has so many amazing ideas and I loved how we fed off each other’s energy as these designs came together 🥰 3. These stars are seriously so easy to make with the Cricut and they look SO gorgeous when finished! WHAT YOU NEED: ✸ medium to heavy stock white card ✸ standard grip cutting mat ✸ scoring pen tool HOW TO MAKE THEM: 1. In the Cricut design space add a basic star to your canvas from the shapes tool 2. Use the line shape to add a scoring line from the tip of each point of the star to the opposite side 3. Group your scoring lines and star together and click attach 4. Use the resize settings to duplicate your group and resize it to create smaller and larger stars 5. Click make, choose your machine and material. 6. Click to edit tools and choose the scoring pen for clamp A 7. Load your mat and material and let the Cricut work her magic. 8. This year is my first Christmas in this home studio space so I wanted to create some fun and colourful decorations to make it EXTRA special! I used my beloved Cricut maker and the Cricut design space to create some scandi inspired paper decoration shapes which I then cut (a lot of) and folded to create gorgeous hanging paper decorations. TOP TIP: I saved the cut offs to create smaller circles from my 'scrap paper' and used these to create a hanging backdrop wall complete with glittery stars. What I used: ✸ Cricut Maker ✸ Basic Cutting blade ✸ Cricut Design space ✸ 2 basic grip 30x30cm mats ✸ coloured paper ✸ nylon thread ✸ Cricut party foil ✸ Cricut glitter card ✸ glue ✸ small beads (optional) #cricutchristmas #cricutmade #DIYchristmasdecorations #cricuttutorial #cricutmaker #craftwithmeers
