1️⃣ I have 3 Beautiful daughters 4/6/8 years old
2️⃣ I have been Married to the love of my life for 19 years! 🤩 Yes I was 18 when I got married! I’m now 37
3️⃣ I started Lashin Out in 2012- Almost 10 years ago. 😳 Our product line was born in 2018 when I just had my 3rd daughter!
4️⃣ I’m half indigenous. My mom is Caucasian and my dad is indigenous. My parents both struggle with addiction. My mom just passed away April 1st 😭
5️⃣ Opened The Beauty Block @beautyblock_yyc with my work wife Brittany @beautybybcanada Last year! We have the best team and absolutely love coming to work everyday! If you live in Calgary come check us out!
Instagram has a great way of glamorizing everything. Just want all my new followers to know that nothing good in life comes easy. None of my successes happened overnight. There have definitely been lots of struggles to get to this point. Please remember that you are in control of your own life. Be kind and surround your self with great people. Watch me explain my lash mapping on my employee Kate @kate_beautyblock. She’s is a lash artist from Ukraine. 🇺🇦 She used to working with short lashes (5-10mm) and 0.07 diameter.
The Lashes styles they do in Ukraine are very different than here in Canada. She’s teaching me so much! They DO NOT offer fills in Ukraine. They remove and do a full set every time because they love a clean top line look. 👌🏼
They don’t usually work with longer than 10mm and only do about 2-5D 0.07 lashes.
Kate has had to adapt to so many changes Lashin here in Canada. We use different products, lighter diameter’s and longer lashes. She applied her first 20mm spikes on a client with naturally long lashes. She was shocked to see how long they were 👀She’s also adjusting to removing grown out lashes for fill appointments.
She is a queen at lash lifts and showed me so many amazing products I want to bring into our shop!
I’m so grateful to have her on my team and learn new ways of doing things!

👉🏽 At our salon, we offer mini fills– which is a 30 minute appointment that clients can book to touch up their lashes and get them extra full. We allow mini fills to be booked 1-13 days after our client’s previous fill or full set.
Believe it or not, we get a lot of clients who book in for mini fills! They are a great way to fill any gaps in your schedule and still generate earnings despite it being a shorter appointment.

Our client Paige requested Volume lashes for her full set. However, she got a Keratin Infusion lash lift a few weeks prior and most of her natural lashes were still quite curly. We needed to make sure that the curl we used on her was not too curly, since her natural lashes were already curlier than normal.

This set used a combination of open volume fans and some closed volume fans to add some soft texture! 💕
