If you live in Kentucky or Tennesse or visit Lake Cumberland, you do not want to miss this gorgeous location just outside of Monticello, Kentucky. The waterfall is just a few hundred feet off Hwy 90. You can park at the end of the guardrail just below Kennett’s Antiques original store and you will spot the well worn path. It is a bit steep for small children or bad knees. The (approximate) 1/4 mile path crosses Corp of Engineers property as this is part of Beaver Creek, which soon empties into Lake Cumberland. This is not a maintained trail. You may see snakes, and will definitely need bug spray. There are actually two falls and a really spectacular creek. We cannot wait for you guys to see this. Tag us when you visit.
