My YouTube video of "Ladyva - Boogie Woogie Stomp live" by the King of Boogie-Woogie Albert Ammons has just reached 12 million views.
It was the first track released by the famous jazz record label Blue Note Records in 1938.
It was Albert's rendition of Clarence "Pinetop" Smith's famous 1928 tune called "Pinetop's Boogie Woogie", a barrelhouse piano tune that cast in stone boogie-woogie as the name of the entire genre.
One of the special features of this piece is the difficult left-hand pattern towards the end.
