This poor senior fella isnāt able to groom himself much any longer. When trimming this senior kitties nails we discovered what felt like rocks or stones embedded in his paws and pads and his back legs were coated in almost a cement made up of urine and clay litter! Unfortunately we see this all too often in cats who are using clay litters. We always recommend staying away from it, not only for the damage to paws but itās terrible for them to ingest while grooming themselves, bad for theirs and your respiratory system and tracks all throughout your home carrying with it your cats waste!
