September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and we’re back at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia to donate our thick satin-lined kids hoodies.💕
This initiative all began in 2021 with KINfolk Joanna who wrote a review saying, “I LOVE my KIN hoodie! After finishing chemo meds I’ve been nurturing my fragile hair back to life, the satin lined hood is really going to help care for my hair. It’s so warm and thick too, really high quality and I loved the note that came with it too - thank you!”
After seeing this, we reached out to her, thanked her, and spoke to her about some things we could do to support the community. Donating to @childrensphila was perfect because one, we’re located in Philly and two, we knew the kids would really appreciate it since this was the first donation on its kind. We’re happy to be back doing it again and we look forward to continuing this initiative in other hospitals.
