Tea Thoughts Autumn Countdown - Day 7
For day seven of the Tea Thoughts Countdown to Autumn, we have some of Tealyra's - East Frisian Tea Drops.
Hard candy with a strong black tea taste made from all-natural pure tea extract and sugar. Inspired by the classic East Frisian Tea Ceremony, with a bold tea taste and balanced sweet body.
A sweet treat really was the best choice to end this countdown with and round things off perfectly. I tried one of these immediately after opening today's package and wow, they are delicious. I've tried many different tea flavoured candies over the years and these are by far the best ones I've had. I'll be savouring what I have left of these for as long as possible.

Tea Thoughts Autumn Countdown - Day 6
For day six of the Tea Thoughts Countdown to Autumn, we have Herb & Kettle's - Saffron Chai.
A wonderfully aromatic blend of loose leaf black tea, ginger, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, black pepper and saffron. It's no secret that I adore chai and while I sip on it all year round I definitely drink double, if not triple the amount during fall and winter. I'll be making stovetop chai with this as soon as I possibly can!

For day five of the Tea Thoughts Countdown to Autumn we have another tea!
This time around it's Mountain Stream Teas's: Chocolate Wuyi Red Oolong. Mountain Stream Teas have been at the top of my must try list for a long time now so I was thrilled to open today's gift and see that one of their teas had been included.
This teas is actually one I was going to include in my first order with them when I finally got around to it so I'm even more thankful that Nazanin picked this one for the countdown.
I can't wait to give this a try asap.

Day 4 of the Tea Thoughts Countdown is two rolls of Nazanin's beautiful Washi Tapes. One being a tiger gaiwan design and the other being an osmanthus flower and tea design.
As someone who loves washi tape, I'm so thankful to be able to add these to my collection and I can't wait to start using these in my tea notes journal throught the fall (let me know if you want to see a tea notes journal flip through at the end of the year).

Their Hong Pei Jin Xuan Oolong Tea is a roasted Milk Oolong Tea from Taiwan's Alishan tea district. This Jin Xuan is more heavily roasted than their other Jin Xuan (milk oolong) teas, which helps to produce a flavorful and robust liquor.
As someone who adores heavily roasted teas I simply can not wait to try this. In fact I might have to do a session with this tomorrow because I don't think I can wait longer than that to try this tea. Tea Thoughts Autumn Countdown - Day 1. As someone who is Autumn through and through, I'm so excited to get started with this countdown and ring my favourite season in the best way possible.
Day 1 of the Tea Thoughts Autumn Countdown is powdered Da Hong Pao from Lapsang Store.
This powder can be used to make both hot and iced tea, however Nazanin recommends using this to make ice tea which is probably what I will do. I am, however, one to experiment so because I do have multiple packets of this to work with, I will probably try this hot as well.
This was the perfect way to start of this countdown and a perfect way to bridge the gap between summer and autumn 🍂☀️🎃

For this latte I used Yunomi's Naturally Grown - Standard Ceremonial Grade | Kodama Matcha. This matcha is delicious on its own and transports me to Scarborough sea front every time I drink it, but it also makes for an absolutely fantastic latte. It doesn't need sweetening and stands up perfectly to the addition of the soya milk.
