I love the cycle of making in ceramics. I loaded a bisque kiln this morning and then began making another round of mugs. This cycle has rhythm and repetition, both very comfortable for me. I’m making a clay switchover and today was the first day throwing mugs with @lagunaclay red b mix. It’s so lovely to work with!!! Last weekend I raised up my wheel to see what throwing standing up feels like. I have hip pain often and wondered if something was off in my body mechanics.
