This big-headed boy is kinda a big deal at @LovePupFoundation 💕 He's a bundle of love, fun and personality. He loves people, he loves other dogs, he loves treats and he loves toys. Basically Zeke is the epitome of love. Which is probably why he's thriving at #LovePup . He showed up at someone's front door around Christmas time and those wonderful humans knew #LovePup would come to his rescue, and they did. The staff and volunteers can't get enough of this boisterous boy! The adoption of Zeke comes with training with Paddocks Paws and doggy treadmill sessions with Run Buddy Mobile! Bismark and his friend were found on the side of the road near an empty field, hiding behind a tree. Likely dumped by their previous owners. That’s when @HARTT came to their rescue. They were micro-chipped, but unfortunately, no one responded to come pick these boys up.
But this has given them both a new lease on life. Bismark is the epitome of good boy. Ball is life for this handsome fella. But when he's not playing, he's incredibly chill and would love to just lay and hang out with you. He gets along great with other dogs and children alike. This month’s incredible educator is a middle school teacher from Mesa Academy for Advanced Studies! 📚
We are so excited to introduce you to Caroline Chung-Wipff who teaches English and social studies to fourth, fifth and sixth graders!
Her nomination letter states, "She has a lot to do as a teacher, but she still finds time to help out. She is a volunteer at the Maricopa County Animal Shelter. She really cares about the animals at the shelter and had her classes do a project to help them get adopted. Her students made posters with a drawing of the dog or cat and a description of why they should get adopted. She is an amazing teacher because she is kind and very fun. She teaches her students so much, and also brings fun into the classroom with fun projects... She works very hard, and deserves more than she is given as a teacher."

This incredibly sweet, incredibly resilient, survivor of a two-year-old pup is a new addition to the Arizona Animal Welfare League family after being acquired from Pima County. She’s a little pirate, with only one eye and we aren’t sure if she was born that way or if she had an accident that left her that way but it’s not slowing her down. She also came to AAWL with Valley Fever but is being treated and doing incredibly well with her recovery. We aren’t sure what kind of things she’s endeavored in her short two-years but they haven’t kept her from being the snuggly, cuddly, loving girl she is today. This happy-go-lucky 5-year-old mixed breed is waiting patiently for his fur-ever home at @foothillsanimalrescue ! He was initially adopted out as a puppy, but his owner realized they couldn’t give him the life he deserved living in a small apartment and surrendered him back to the rescue. Now Biscuit is ready to find a home he can spread his joy and positive energy around with a family that can provide him the perfect environment for him to continue to learn and thrive. He's incredibly smart and very treat motivated, loves to run, to play tug-o-war and fetch, he's even great at agility training courses! He'd do great with older children (he's working on not jumping up on people so once this becomes habit he'd love to be around littles too). And he just wants to show you what a 100% pure-bred GOOD BOY he is! Could you be the one to give him the life he longs for?

Meet Oakley. He’s not even two yet and in his youth he has already been through so much. He was hit by a car. Trying to recover. But his previous owners weren’t attentive and the pain was too much. Oakley devoured and chewed his own leg until the damage was irreversible.
Due to amputation costs his family decided they were going to have him euthanized. But the angels at @lovepupfoundation weren’t going to let that happen. So he was surrendered and they came to his aid. And in no time this incredible husky was walking, playing and running again!
Oakley is the epitome of love. He’s just happy to be here. Happy about life and a second chance and to be living without pain. All of his traumas haven’t held him back and he’s honestly an inspiration to all of us.

This goofy Basenji mix is waiting for his forever home at @harttaz ! He was found on the streets and has thrived in the rescue. He would make a great hiking buddy and would love to be your lap dog and the reason you smile. Kane knows his basic commands and is treat and toy motivated! I honestly haven't laughed this hard with a pup in a long time. Between his SUPER low voice (he's only 28 lbs so you'd never expect the sound that comes out of his throat), his yodeling, his air flips and really big grin, he's going to steal your heart.
