Experimenting with @Saburrtooth Power Carving and @Starbond Premium Adhesives . One of many reasons I love having a laser and a scroll saw. For this one I just added the offset in Lightburn then scored a really light outline then headed right over to the scroll saw and cut it out. Gluing to an uneven surface. It’s a process! I use two different glues because the wood glue bonds slowly and over time can expand and contract with any natural wood movement, but the CA glue bonds quickly and holds it down. The pin nails help as a little reinforcement as well as push the pieces down completely and keep them in place. Making a handmade stamp for duck egg cartons, extended version. I put a lot into this for something I made for myself. The chamfer with my professional router setup was especially necessary.
