how to photograph in midday sun 1. use the elements around you to help filter the light if possible 2. use a reflector (white side) to bounce light back to your subject. 3. think about your angles. What is the angle of the sun and what angle should you be. I try to angle myself compared to my light the same as I would be during golden hour as much as I can. 4. EXPERIMENT!! try some new techniques, embrace harsh shadows, and have fun. I hope that helps.
