I really don’t understand why the American gov does not make a minimum wage. Should not be up to customers to pay the staff correctly.

When servers are only payed $2.13 an hour, they rely on tips. The system is messed up that's for sure.

I went to America a few years ago when we went to a restaurant the server was amazing! Now 4 years later I’m stressed out because I forgot to tip 😖

Couple of tradies went to the states, had a bill of 250$ and didn’t know they had to tip 10%. It’s crazy how these workers relies on tips that much
