I cant make you feel aafe. Safety is more about our internal sense of safety than it is about the external world. The world is filtered through our internal sense of self. If my relationship to the world is that it’s not safe, that people generally don’t have my back, then it will be difficult for me to notice when there is warmth, attunement, and safety in a space.
Creating safe spaces means being responsible for what is ours to hold and what is not ours.

Day one of the card pull! This is one of my favourite cards because self touch also releases oxytocin and all the feel good hormones.
I think it’s wonderful to make a practice of offering ourselves the touch and care that we long for from others (in addition to actually asking for and receiving from people in our lives).
It’s a good practice to remember we are IN relationship with ourselves.
