The day is here, Love and Money, my latest album is out and available to hear in all the usual places. It still blows my mind that I get to do this, to make records with brilliant musicians, songwriters and the best team in the music industry. And now I get to share it with my baby boy. I mention him because this is the first album which was made where emotionally, I married my home life with work. I wanted to celebrate these beautiful years of meeting his dad and creating great memories with my parents and brother, because Covid basically forced us to. It was a gamble, not to work late into the night and on the weekends. I’ve just finished the rehearsals for the tour and the new songs sound so fresh and so unbelievably good. I’m beyond excited for you to hear the whole thing. Let’s bring in the summer with it. Though England, spring would be good enough too. The story behind the latest single is that it’s inspired by my soul mate and his dancing. He’s not a professional dancer but is able to totally embody the music and do it without being self-conscious. We started dating during the pandemic and didn’t see each other dance for the first time till nearly a year into our relationship. The idea was that the song felt as effortless as it does being in each other’s presence.
