You’ve probably heard it before, you have to feel in order to heal! And it’s true! It’s important to find that safe spot where you can allow yourself to fully feel all of the emotions, the good ones, the bad ones, the insignificant ones. When we allow ourselves to do that, out body can then go back to a regulated state. We can reach a regulated state by tapping into the five senses, so once you’ve allowed yourself to fully feel your emotion, going into a five senses practice can be super helpful.
