Spread the seed. Water. And wait.
They look like weeds at first, because often the journey to beauty and healing isn't pretty.
And then they bloom.
Giving to the bees and butterflies.
And joy to us.
And then they go to seed.
Feeding the birds.
And planting themselves to bloom again next year.
Bury what needs to die.
Nurture to heal and grow.
Wildflowers, the gift that keeps on giving.

Talk with your hands much, Justine? 🤣
Whenever events have photographers, I always say a little prayer, please, God, let them capture a decent photo of me.
As evidenced here, not easy considering how animated and, yes, passionate I am when I teach.
Too much.
So many feelings.
So emotional.
For most of my life, I hated this about me.
For most of my life, I allowed the story that I was too much to be spoken over me. A story I bought into, a story I contracted with.
Except then, I did the work to learn to meet her with love, to love all the parts of her, because it was only then that I could fully show up in the world, live happy, and serve well.
So now, yes, I am very passionate when I teach.
It's also how I live my life. Simply, I love hard.
I will no longer dull myself to make others comfortable.
I'm too much?
Go find less as @Elyse Myers says.
More than that, maybe get curious about how come someone living as their full self with permission to be and feel it all makes you so uncomfortable. Because I promise, it's more about your stuff than mine. 😘

Forever wonders.
The #infertility journey doesn't always end with babies. And the #childlessafterinfertility journey and ending the pursuit to parenthood is just as valid, very happy, and an ending that needs to be spoken, shared, and valued more.
I am a forever grieving mother and I love my life.
If your journey to parenthood didn't go as expected, #nationalinfertilityawarenessweek is for you. Speak your story when you're ready to share, not from a gaping wound and instead from a well-cared-for scar.
I see you.
Your pain is valid.
I promise healing and joy are possible.
If I could have used this entire song Meet Me at the Light by Desirée Dawson, I would have. And I would have included all the amazing happy photos from our life after infertility ended without the babies. Go listen to the whole four minutes, those lyrics in the half esp.🧡🧡🧡

Our first In Waiting & Healing event is a week from today. As questions have come in from the registrants, I am beyond honored and excited to gather with people in the reproductive trauma community and share how we can receive our healing.
If you are in the St. Louis area, would you consider sharing this event? For many of us, the journey to parenthood did not happen how we hoped, dreamed, and planned. You probably know someone affected. Remember 1 in 8 couples struggle to conceive, 1 in 4 pregnancies ends in a loss, 1 in 160 pregnancies ends with a child born still, and many have pregnancy and birth stories that are beyond difficult, if not traumatic. People in this community often suffer alone and silently. We want to make sure they know this support is available. Thank you!
