Now now before you ask what kind of hole 🕳 I've been living in to have never seen or read Harry Potter, let me explain!!!
I was homeschooled all the way through and grew up on Narnia and Lord of the Rings. My parents thought that many times, Harry and his group got rewarded for sneaky behavior. They believed we should wait to watch the movies until we were teens and would understand that even though Harry did risky things often, that didn't mean little kids should too.
Well, when we got old enough, the Marvel movies came out, and we got caught up in them. Now, as an adult, I've read all the books and am FINALLY ready to begin watching the movies!
Me and my sister went to a candy store, got our drinks and snacks, and had a great time watching Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

My current novel has finalled twice in First Impressions, twice in The Crown Awards, twice in the Cascade Awards, and has moved on to round 2 in the Aurora Contest!
I'm flabbergasted by the attention this project has received, and though for now I have to keep the title secret, it will soon be revealed! (If you follow my newsletter, you know the secret of which I speak!)
After the title/secret from newsletter are revealed it will be sent out to another round of queries and take the next step towards publication!
Now it is time to take up my pen and computer to start this new story! It will be set in a different world with different characters but is going to have similar themes and epic battles. It will involve David’s story from the Bible, Greek mythology, and a Phoenix!!!!

I don't REALLY know how to sew, just self-taught so I can sew on a button or a straight(ish) line.
My hands always get so cold when I'm typing or writing, but regular gloves just won't work! The hobogloves do okay, but I really wanted a pair like this!

I finaled in 2020 but did not win. For the next 2 years, I failed to final again and became discouraged. I dove back into my manuscript and made a few (okay many) changes based on feedback from credible sources. After all that work, I re-entered ACFW First Impressions, and now I'm finalist!
