By building a routine, you can create a structure for your day that allows you to prioritize your health, wellbeing, and personal life. Continuing with the #AUDITION season series, today I bring to you some audition tips from some of the professional dancers here @pacificnorthwestballet !!!!

@kuutheman - Don’t be coc*y

@liz_naka - If you fall down, It’s ok!

@_baby_bell6 - Whatever makes you feel your best and most beautiful!

@lil.willard - Make sure you get yourself plenty of time to get ready, get there early, wear something you really feel good in, and make sure your hair is nice!

@baila_rina - Be yourself, wear something bright, don’t care about other people!

@melisa.ag23 - Be confident, put yourself in the space, because they want to see who you are as an artist, show case that!

@ellemacy - Go to a place that likes you, don’t try to fit in a place that maybe doesn’t!

@trismegistus.777 - Be unapologetic about who you are as artist!

@jonathanbatistaofficial - Remember, A “No” does not mean “Never”, it only means, you could try it again!

HABITS ROUTINES AND RITUALS.

As a
#dancer , or an #Athlete of #Art , you’ve got to have habits that you fall into when you’re under pressure, a routine in order to build your consistency and rituals when you feel exhausted.

They will serve you best, as you continue to build your confidence, your strength and in times when you just need to be calm and still.

Here’s what I do:

▪️1st - I wash my face with cold water as soon as I get out of bed.
▪️2nd - I make my bed.
▪️3rd - I change clothes and put my activity shoes on.
▪️4th - I hydrate with 1 to 3 cups of water.
▪️5th - I read 25 pages of a book.
▪️6th - I write on my journal.
▪️7th - I catch up with my emails, social media and my team.

Huge thanks to #CitySweats Seattle for welcoming me in their Wallingford location for such a relaxing/recovery day!

After two weekends of performances, that’s all a dancer and athlete need, a day at @citysweats !!!

Thank you to the hostess for guiding me throughout the process, as I went through my first session of Lymphatic Drainage Massage which brings many benefits such as blood filtering, removing impurity and effectively fighting infection, and even better as I moved on to Chromotherapy — The science of colours that adjust body vibrations to frequencies, and the many colours are: Red, Yellow, Green, Blue and Violet.
I chose Blue, it promotes relaxation and calm as it relieves stress, nervous tensions, muscles cramps and more!!

I enjoyed my time here at City Sweats, thank you for having me and I can’t wait to return!
