Putting the final touches on a new Pacific Northwest Inspired painting this afternoon!
Theres nothing quite like the moodiness of the temperate rainforest, with a little bit of ligjt poking through and lighting up the path at your feet. ❤️

Choosing a proper frame for your artwork is an essential step in finalizing an artwork and matching it up with the space it will be living.
Things to consider 👇
✔️ Colours and features of the room and wall the painting will be Hung
✔️ How to compliment, but not take away from the painting itself
✔️The type of art, is it a thick or thin canvas, is it on paper etc?
Once you’ve made a mental note of all these things, take it to the drawing board. You can also use mockup apps to try different frame colours on your paintings and even put it into a digital mockup of your space! For this painting from my new collection, I chose a black stain frame, that connects with the darks of the painting and allows the light bursts of the piece to really pop.
