In our conversations during the planning process the idea was to have our sax player in on the first dance adding that extra layer of ‘Romantic’ to the moment and then let him take some liberties towards the end of their song. And I think it was such a vibe. It turned that whole room into this intimate, very personal, ‘so glad I was there to see it in person’ kinda thing. I always say that your grand introductions should let your guests know what type of celebration they are going to have and your first dance is part of that as well. We always try to make it yours. Standing on the other side of that door are opportunities and I’m just sitting taking a breather. I’ve learned a lot in the past few months about giving myself some time for me and my relationships. A recharge is a good thing and I used never ever use to take them. Now I do and it’s awesome. Using this down time for mini getaways and game-planning for the upcoming year with my #SCE fam and my V is putting my in a good space.

What we do at SCE goes way beyond what you see the day of your event or celebration. And for me I am so 💯 on the team. I learned a long time ago that the office/business side of my DJ life is my kryptonite. I am a creative and having a team behind you to let you shine at what you are good at and what you’re passionate about is everything. And hearing this from a couple who went through the process give me the warm and fuzzies. It lets me know that our process at SCE is doing exactly what it’s suppose to do.
