It’s been a journey to self discovery. Unlearning and relearning. Losing people you love and grieving.
This year was with plenty of emotions. Lots of celebratory moments but the painful ones always manage to linger.
And there’s nothing like grief.
I’ve been collecting funeral programs after attendance but the most painful ones are being disconnected from living beings.
That one hurts the most.
I’m taking the time to reflect now. Writing thoughts down and creating video memories. That seems to heal me a bit.
This is a reminder of how short our lives can be. Be kind to yourself. Just be - as you are. Fill your days with laughter, hugs, long walks with your loved ones, and slay along the way. - Souphak

We are trying to rescue a baby bird today from our backyard. The bird had been in one spot for at least 24 hours. We have two dogs but wanted to make sure the bird was okay first before we let our dogs out in our back yard. Today, we dropped off the baby bird at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of MN. Hopefully we have a better Part II video to follow.

Spent time unplugged for a bit and here’s what I learned. The best stories are told by the little ones so create more experiences to help build more stories. Children are best at being present. We can learn from them more. Joy comes from within. Being goofy helps with joy too. Most of all, connect with the people you love and love them.
