I lost some money when I first got into real estate ‼️But it taught me some of the most valuable lessons 💎 One of which- it taught me how to save money. When you’re forced to make payments, you’ll find a way.It taught me that if a job isn’t going to give you as much money as you crave, it’s your responsibility to figure out how to earn more.I learned that everything is my fault. I could have blamed the city, I could have blamed the town, but if we point fingers at others, we’ll never change our ways. It was my fault for not doing enough research into the builder, their history, and the project.On top of it, looking back- I shouldn’t have even been looking for a one bedroom condo in the first place. If I knew then what I knew now, I would have shopped for a different asset class.If I knew then what I knew now I would have been shopping in a different market.I’m just happy that I didn’t give up.Just remember, if you lose money its your fault. As a matter of fact, you may as well just take responsibility for everything bad in your life, because if you don’t, it’s just going to keep happening.If luck isn’t going your way, I suggest reading a book called “Extreme Ownership” by Jocko Willink.
