In the beginning my inner imposter often told me „Nobody wants to see it“, „First I need to become as good as … „ , „I need a perfect plan and structure.“, „I don’t want to bother anyone.“.
But guess what? That’s a lie!
Show your art when and wherever you can. There are so many individuals out there who love what you’re doing, who want to see your progress even when you’re struggeling and who want to support someone relentlessly pursuing their dreams. By putting your work out there, more people get the chance to see it and give you helpful feedback to boost your confidence.

Which version do you prefer? Abstract and vivid with acrylics or smooth and more lifelike with oil colours?
I enjoy combining different mediums and use all the advantages they offer. Acrylics allow for vivid colours and crisp shapes, while oils provide a soft and velvet touch. Nevertheless I often end up with a realistic painting when my initial intention was to create something more abstract.

a valuable lesson I learned from this artwork. I painted over it multiple times. Reworked the face, the hair. At various points it got messy and chaotic, but all those layers gave her this distinctive character.
A trip to india earlier this year inspired me to create this piece. I returned with so many ideas and impressions and I'm incredibly grateful that I got the opportubity to make this unforgettable experience. 🇮🇳
