Preparing your meals seriously does not have to be complicated. All it takes is to combine some protein, smart carbs, healthy fats, and adding as much colorful fruit and veggies as possible. Have 3 main meals a day and 1-2 snacks. Done! #nutritioncoaching

I would not say I don’t care how much weight I’ll gain diring my pregnancy, but my priority number one is health of my baby🥰
Everything else related to my own body is secondary, because those are things I can always fix later. I know how to lose weight and get back in shape.
So even if it means I need to eat more food and move less, and gain 12-15 kilos, I’m totally comfortable with that.

Squats are excellent exercise during pregnancy. Safe squatting with lower weights does not only help your 🍑 stay strong and engaged, bit it also helps with flexibility and mobility of your pelvic floor muscles. Which is something you will really appreciate during labor and delivery, and postpartum healing. Smith machine (rather than free bar) will help you better target the right muscles, without a need to excessively brace your core. Contrary to popular belief, you really don’t need to eat for 2 when you are pregnant😂 Extra 350 calories in the second trimester is enough (considering you are starting your pregnancy at healthy body weight). What is much important is the quality of the food you eat. The less processed, the better. The rule number one to be able to build sustainable lifesyle habits, is to KEEP IT SIMPLE. Healthy, balanced meals don’t need millions of ingredients. It’s OK to eat similar or even same foods often. Of course, try to have as much diversity as possible (different sources of protein, different colorful fruit and veggies, different types of carbs), but don’t stress about it too much. Yes, white bread is not a bad food. Its just a food, that is not super nutritious.
