Canva hack for photo cutout outlines! Or a “stroke-like” style if you will.
Step 1: duplicate your image (in my case I deleted the background to just get myself in the frame)
Step 2: on one of the images, click EFFECT, then DUOTONE.
- change the highlight and shadow color to the same color (your chosen color for the outline)
Step 3: fix the position, so it’s behind your actual image, and make it a tad bit larger in order to show up around your image.
Ta-da! You did it!

Cadillac ranch is a cool art installation that you can tag with spray paint. A couple of things to remember:
1. Wear a mask because it smells like cow manure from the cow farm up the road.
2. Eye protection because it’s windy and the dust goes everywhere.

Things don’t always go to plan. Just like how we were supposed to move last summer, but pushed it back another year.
Sure, we were disappointed. But in the end, it was worth it.
We got to visit so many places on our bucket list, have the freedom to come and go and spend so much extra and needed time with those we love.
Was it a hard year? Sure. We lost loved ones, and even a few friends along the way, but it was a year that stretched us in more ways than one. But the thing is, I’ll never regret the memories we made along the way. And the people who showed up and made this year one of the best.
This is it. Our last official summer here. And even though the countdown begins, we’re no where near done making memories. We gotta soak them up while we still can.
To those who shared in the disappointments with us, and in the celebrations along the way, thank you for making this year one for the books. ❤️ you.
