The team announced they’d come to a deal with St. Pete and Pinellas County to bring a ballpark to the 86-acre Gas Plant District Development.
The new stadium would have a capacity of 30,000 with flexible viewing areas, decks, premium box suites and more. The Rays would pay for half of the ~$1.2 billion project, while St. Pete and Pinellas County would each contribute $300 million.
Pinellas County’s contribution would come from the hotel bed tax.

If you have a bike, enjoy a ride on the near 60 mile loop of the Pinellas trail. I use it to go to St. Pete Beach and Indian Shores. I love exploring on my @stpeteradpowerbikes
The @crossbayferrytb is coming back soon! It should start in October and will offer rides between downtown St. Pete at the Vinoy Yacht Basin to downtown Tampa right outside @thetampacc. The ferry has bike racks on board, too!

Good news for those who live or work around Gulfport – quick, convenient, and local coffee has arrived. Annex Coffee House has officially opened its drive-thru and walk-in coffee shop at 5133 Gulfport Blvd South after months of anticipation.
Open from 6 am - 6 pm on weekdays and 8 am - 6 pm on weekends, Annex is a new go-to for coffee, fresh-made breakfast sandwiches, baked goodies, and smoothies. And they even use locally-roasted Kahwa coffee beans, so you know you're getting high-quality drinks.
We tried the cold brew today and it was truly one of the best we've had. Drive through or grab a shaded parking spot in the back.
